The REALTOR® Association recommends candidates who champion issues related to real estate, homeownership, and private property rights. In addition, the Association considers support of campaign issues that address the rights of property owners and/or improves the quality of life within our region.
The following is the content of the letter I received:

It is my pleasure to inform you that the Space Coast Association of REALTORS® has recommended you for election to the City of Cape Canaveral City Council. Along with this recommendation is a contribution from the Realtors® Political Action Committee for $1,000. The check should arrive to the address listed on the Supervisors of Elections website within a week to ten days.
