The safety and security of all our residents is very important. We all want to be secure in our homes and property. One way of accomplishing this is to support our law enforcement officers and first responders as they work hard to make our communities safe to live, work, and play. I initiated Coffee with a Cop to encourage dialogue between police and our citizens. Support for our law enforcement officers and first responders works hand in hand to make our streets safe. Politicians must ensure law enforcement is properly funded to make their constituents feel safe in their homes and communities.
Don has been working with Florida Department Of Transportation to make A1A a safe thorough fare through Cape Canaveral. In addition to opposing the round about, Don has been working to make our streets safer for pedestrian and bicycle traffic, including efforts to build signalized crosswalks along A1A in the southern portion of our city.
